About WOMAT
WOman & MATerials
The meeting between the founding partners and REINOVA—an emerging, visionary company and a European excellence in the heart of the Motor Valley—led to the fusion of two worlds that may seem far apart, yet are absolutely complementary and now united in a single entity.
The true strength of WOMAT is renewed and self-sustaining thanks to the rock-solid, proven expertise of the founding partners—Carola Esposito Corcione, Aurora Rizzo, Silvia Colella, Antonella Giuri, and Raffaella Striani—whose multidisciplinary skills span chemical, energy and materials engineering, physics, chemistry, and technologies for the conservation of cultural heritage, combined with Reinova’s experience in the European industrial sector embodied by Stefania Carlucci and Giuseppe Esposito Corcione.
The Team
Our Vision

We drive ideas, research, and innovation toward sustainable technological progress.”
Today’s challenges focus on developing new materials that are more high-performing, cost-effective, and eco-sustainable than those currently in use. WOMAT aims to adapt strategies for designing and producing innovative materials, putting the rational use of resources and the development of human-centred solutions first.
Our Mission
We develop innovative products with high technological value, both on our own and for third parties, for industrial and/or research use, with particular attention to ideation, design, engineering, production, and commercialization. By way of example, though not limited to: engineered composite materials at the nanometric scale; surface coatings for applications in optics, optoelectronics, biomedical devices, energy, environmental protection, circular economy, construction, conservation of cultural heritage, and metal protection.
